Elizabeth Goldberger President |
Elizabeth is a chemistry major in her fourth year at Stern, and she plans on going on to medical school. She enjoys learning about the practical side of chemistry, both in its uses in everyday life as well as its presence in the body. Hailing from Florida, she enjoys traveling, singing, and cooking. She is excited about the upcoming year's theme of chemistry and consumer products. |
Sarah Elimelech Vice President |
Sarah grew up in Paris, France where she majored in Biology and Chemistry in high school. She is now continuing and perfecting her education at Stern College as a Biology major. Sarah is very meticulous and loves smiles. For this reason, she wants to go to dental school to become an orthodontist and make smiles nicer all day long. Sarah was inspired by her professors to look for ways to improve our world, such as finding the secret element that will finally make the periodic table stick to the classroom wall. |
Davida Kollmar Vice President |
A Senior at Stern, Davida is a physics major, so her favorite aspect of chemistry is when the two fields intersect. Working at the chem club magic show in her sophomore year made her realize that she could easily make the science labs her fourth home, behind her house in Edison, NJ, her dorm room, and the Beit Midrash. Davida's hobbies include reading, learning just about anything, and writing her puzzle column for The Observer. |
Sarah NobleVice President
|
Sarah Noble, from Scarsdale, New York, is a senior majoring in biochemistry and art history. She hopes to pursue a career in medicine. She is co-president of the social justice society as well as vice president of chemistry club. She loves doing organic chemistry problems (especially synthesis!!), reading novels, running, and beaches. She hopes you find chemistry fascinating this year! |
Miriam Andrusier |
Miriam is a native Brooklynite who loves skiing, swimming and biking. Ever since elementary school she's wanted to be a doctor and she's pursuing that dream by majoring in Biology at Stern College. As a Junior, she is super excited to be involved with the chemistry club and can't wait to make the club explode with fun! |
Eliana Biel |
Eliana was born and raised in Saint Louis, MO. She is currently a second year biology major in Stern and one day aspires to become a Prosthetist and Orthotist. Eliana loves the sciences and exploring the workings of the world around her. Outside of school, she enjoys karate, traveling, and glass bead-making. |

Daniela Garzon |
Daniela, a junior at Stern, is pursuing a career in engineering. On the way she is set to explore all of the sciences and the inner workings of the world. When she does not have her head in a text book she enjoys hanging out with friends, eating ice cream and drawing. She enjoys the many wonders of NYC but loves being home in Milwaukee, WI where the air is always fresh and the sky is always blue. |
Rivky Gittleman |
Hi! My name is Rivky Gittleman and I’m a Junior at Stern, majoring in biology (although I love chemistry, as well!) and looking forward to a career in physical therapy. My passion for chemistry was sparked by my favorite joke that I love to share: “What is Avagadro’s favorite food?” “Guacamole!” I enjoy teaching chemistry and performing chemistry magic shows for elementary school students. I’m so fascinated by the logic behind the periodic table that it was even the background for my ipod for a little while! I'm thrilled to be a part of the Chemistry Club where I hope to develop even more of an appreciation for the chemistry that exists in our amazing world!

Malka Nusbaum |
Malka, born and and bred in Cherry Hill, NJ, claims she majors in Malkaism, but in reality hopes to pursue nursing. Malka is often found volunteering in hospitals in New York, New Jersey or The Middle of Nowhere, Pennsylvania. She spends her free time catching the latest adventure, listening to music or shiurim, spending time with friends and family, and picking up new hobbies such as beading, ice skating, knitting, hiking, painting and hot yoga. With Malka's creative mind and natural instinct for fun, she looks forward to being a "catalyst" for the chem club's best year yet! |
Mushky Pinson |
Mushky is a born and raised Brooklyn girl and a super-senior at Stern who plans on going to medical school. As a Biochemistry major, learning how biology, chemistry and physics make the world go 'round is what makes her tick. When not in school, Mushky likes going to Zumba, running, and cooking - although not with stoichiometry in mind! This year, she looks forward to having fun and spreading the love for Chemistry throughout Stern and yonder. |

Nasim Tishbi |
My name is Nasim Tishbi and I am a senior majoring in biochemistry. I am originally from Iran and came here 4 years ago. I want to pursue a career in dentistry. I like learning all of the sciences and relating them to each other; it is just fantastic to see how nicely all physics and chemistry phenomena fit in biological systems. I also enjoy doing research in the Biochemistry field. Other than science, I am interested in cooking, gardening and spending time with my friends. |
Eliana Trink |
Eliana is a Sociology major and Biology minor from Baltimore, Maryland. She is a senior at Stern, and plans to take a year off before deciding what to do for the rest of her life. Eliana enjoys swimming, tennis, reading and chemistry of course! She sees chemistry in the world around her every day and cannot wait to be a part of the club. This year's theme of chemistry and beauty is thrilling, and Eliana is excited for the Stern student body to be thrilled alongside her. |
